We're a friendly community and try to keep this place fun. IC drama =/= OOC drama, and we don't tolerate OOC drama. If you have a problem you can't resolve peacefully, come to the mods. They'll gladly help out with it.

Some characters, such as Spider-Man, have multiple different versions. This can be very confusing, and therefore, we only allow two versions of any character in the game. This means that if we have a Comic Spider-Man and a Movie Spider-Man, a game Spider-Man would be rejected.
This, however, does not apply to characters who aren't the same one -- for instance, Dick Greyson and Jason Todd would be considered different characters, and would not count as having two "Robins" in-game.
If you're unsure about your character, talk to a Mod.

Godmoding and power-playing are not accepted at all. No excuses.

While the Nexus seems to make many things appear, and in some cases things can be made by the people within it if they have the skills to build or invent it, it generally cannot manage to create either life or complex machinery.
To clarify: things can and will appear or be scavenged, from a character's home or not, so long as they are simple things and not other people, complex inventions or machinery, etc. Anything else must be built by hand by the characters -- no matter who they are or what powers they have, no character can simply "will" things into being.

Every character, on being accepted, gets a tag with their name. Please, please use these tags! They're very important to keeping track.

At the end of every month, Activity Check goes up. If you fail Activity Check, you're removed from the game. As AC is simply replying with the characters you have and want to keep, it's fairly simple and you will not be added back simply because you missed posting in AC. You may not post for someone else in ACs -- however, you are allowed to post to the Hiatus post for them if they're unable to do so themselves.
You are always welcome to reapp -- and even reuse your old app -- if you wish.

While methods of contact are optional, we generally need at least one way of contacting you. If you don't provide one, then the Mods take no responsibility if something happens or you're removed unfairly -- after all, if we can't contact you, how will we know it's unfair?

Only the journal you've applied with may be used. Do not use your personal journal, nor any other journal of that character. Your personal journal can, however, be used in the OOC com, but only there.
We do allow exceptions, however: For instance, if you're playing a character who has multiple identities and use a different journal for each identity, we will allow you to use them both if you simply let us know in your app.

The Nexus does, in fact, have its own currency. You can't just get something for nothing, I'm afraid! While many places will accept your native currency, there are banks that will exchange it for you. However, we generally leave it up to the players to decide how much they have. Please refer to the FAQ for more information.

All newly-arrived residents will have access to a free apartment at the Lamont Cranston Apartment Complex. There is no rent, but if you want to move somewhere else more spacious or luxurious, you're more than welcome to. That is defined by the player of the character, including rent.
